You quickly pull out your phone, log in to the Rabobank app, and transfer money from your savings account to your payment account. You swipe your card again. This time, the transaction succeeds. All of this is possible using secure techniques, such as cryptography. As a crypto engineer, you help making this possible and keeping the bank and its clients secure.
For my client in the Utrecht region I am looking for a Crypto Engineer. It concerns a freelance assignment or a permanent employment if you would like, for this heavy position a background within the financial sector of defense is an advantage. You do not necessarily have to have Dutch nationality.

Job description:
You are responsible for the second-line support of Keys and Key Management with regard to the availability, timeliness and performance of their services. You manage customer expectations. You have knowledge of ITIL processes, compliance requirements, incident management and Analysis & Monitoring. You participate in the team's 24/7 standby schedule. As a Crypto Engineer you have customer focus and analytical skills, and you enjoy working together and achieving results.
If you have insight into payment transactions/processes, you are a preferred candidate. As a Crypto Engineer you help to enable secure payments between bank and customer. You are responsible for the day-to-day management of the Hardware Security Modules (HSM's) Infrastructure, including tooling, network and monitoring.
Requirements:
What do you have?
– Experience or knowledge of multiple cryptographic concepts (such as PKI);
– You can solve and advise complex issues;
– DevOps skills (programming languages ​​such as BASH and powershell);
– In the daily operation you are able to coordinate customer requests;
– You are able to remain calm and analytical in the event of incidents;
– Azure/AWS knowledge;
